3, 2003—The 2003 Show Jumping
Hall of Fame Jumper Classic Series saw Evan
Coluccio of Middleburg, VA; Robert Kraut of
Oconomowoc, WI; Katie Gardner of Westlake Village,
CA; and Fred Bauer of Millbrae, CA, holding
the early autumn lead in the standings in their
respective divisions.
Show Jumping Hall of Fame Jumper Classic
Series East Conference – Junior Division
Evan Coluccio of Middleburg, VA, riding Romeo,
took over the lead from Melissa Orlick-Zbierski
of Woodstock, IL, in the junior division of
the East Conference. The move was due, in part,
to a win in the $5,000 Show Jumping Hall of
Fame Junior/Amateur-Owner Jumper Classic at
the Quentin Riding Club Fall Horse Show in Quentin,
PA, on September 1.
Cody Baird of Greenwich, CT, aboard Orlandia,
dropped from second to third place behind Orlick-Zbierski
and Intersat Floyd.
Show Jumping Hall of Fame Jumper Classic
Series East Conference – Amateur-Owner
Division
Robert Kraut of Oconomowoc, WI, riding Caviar,
maintained his lead in the amateur-owner division
standings in the East Conference, and Jessica
Siuda of New Vernon, NJ, moved up from eighth
to second with Camerino.
Siuda’s jump was thanks to a first place
finish in the $10,000 Show Jumping Hall of Fame
Junior/Amateur-Owner Jumper Classic at the American
Gold Cup in Devon, PA, on September 14. Joy
Slater of Unionville, PA, aboard Shindig, continued
in the third spot.
Show Jumping Hall of Fame Jumper Classic
Series West Conference – Junior Division
Katie Gardner of Westlake Village, CA, aboard
Ce Ce Capone, kept her lead in the junior division
of the West Conference, remaining ahead of Katy
Brandes of San Juan Capistrano, CA, and her
mount Odessa. Randy Sherman of Pasadena, CA,
and Cuervo Nero, also held on to the third spot
in the Series standings.

Series West Conference – Amateur-Owner
Division
In the West Conference’s amateur-owner
division, Fred Bauer of Millbrae, CA, riding
Marble Arch, maintained the lead. Nicole LaMott
of Laguna Hills, CA, aboard Laredo, moved up
to second place, just ahead of Kandi Stewart
of Leona Valley, CA, and Froccs.

The Show Jumping Hall of Fame and Museum at
Busch Gardens in Tampa, FL was established in
1987 and formally opened in 1989. It was organized
to promote the sport of show jumping and to
immortalize the legends of the men, women and
horses who have made great contributions to
the sport. The Show Jumping Hall of Fame also
conducts the Show Jumping Hall of Fame Jumper
Classic Series, held under Grand Prix rules
and specifications. The Series holds classes
at more than 70 horse shows across the country.
It is designed to give amateur-owner and junior
riders an opportunity to compete at higher levels
and serves as a proving ground for many riders
who aspire to someday represent the United States
in international competition.
