Wolff, Torano, Hester, and Azcarraga Lead
2005 Show Jumping Hall of Fame Jumper Classic Series
Following July Competitions

Tampa, FL—August 5, 2005—The 2005 Show Jumping Hall of Fame Jumper Classic Series saw an incredible thirty-eight events in the East Conference and seventeen in the West Conference throughout the mid-summer months of May, June and July. The Series kicked off in February and continues through November, culminating in Year-End Championships to be held at the National Horse Show in Wellington, FL.

As of August 1, Alexandra Wolff and Hertel Landman led the junior division of the East Conference, while Danielle Torano and Lojana held the top position in the amateur-owner division. Lauren Hester and Oxford led the junior division in the West Conference, and Jaime Azcarraga and Chac-Mool Radio Formula topped the amateur-owner division standings.

Show Jumping Hall of Fame Jumper Classic Series East Conference – Junior Division
Alexandra Wolff of New Albany, OH, got off to a strong start in the Spring aboard Hertel Landman, taking the lead early in the season. The pair held onto that lead throughout the mid-summer, placing in the ribbons at both the Showplace Spring Spectacular I and II in Wayne, IL, in June.

In second place behind Wolff was Aimee Aron of Keswick, VA, with Jamaica, and in third was Haylie Jayne of Elgin, IL, riding Kinda Blue.

Show Jumping Hall of Fame Jumper Classic Series East Conference – Amateur-Owner Division
Danielle Torano of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, sat atop the amateur-owner division standings in the East Conference. She owes her lead, aboard Lojana, to wins in July at the Lake Placid Horse Show in Lake Placid, NY, and the Manchester Summer Festival in East Dorset, VT.

Paige Johnson of The Plains, VA, was in second place with Reddy Teddy. Rounding out the top three was Charlie Jayne of Elgin, IL, piloting Champion.

Show Jumping Hall of Fame Jumper Classic Series West Conference – Junior Division
Lauren Hester of Rancho Santa Fe, CA, and Oxford have remained at or near the top of the standings in the junior division of the West Conference since the start of the season. They led the standings going into late summer with second and third place finishes, respectively, at the Oaks Blenheim June Classic I and II in San Juan Capistrano, CA.

Behind Hester was Sophie Benjamin, also of Rancho Santa Fe, CA, riding Enzo, and Hannah Selleck of Thousand Oaks, CA, was third aboard Cirka Z.

Show Jumping Hall of Fame Jumper Classic Series West Conference – Amateur-Owner Division
Topping the amateur-owner division standings in the West was Jaime Azcarraga of Mexico and his mount Chac-Mool Radio Formula. Azcarraga’s lead was due, in part, to three top-three finishes in June, including a win at the Oaks Blenheim June Classic II.

In second place in the standings was Molly Talla of Newport Beach, CA, on Mr. Pacific, and in third was Armando Hassey of Colorado riding Canada.
