Marilyn Little Leads Explorer Biolan/NHSF Show Jumping Hall Of Fame East Coast Jumper Classic Series After First Three Events
Wellington, Fl -- March 14, 2000 --- Marilyn Little of Frederick, MD leads the East Conference of the Explorer BIOLAN/NHSF Show Jumping Hall of Fame Jumper Classic Series after the year's first three events.

Little has positioned herself along with her horses Granenfeld and Pico de Gallo at the top of the point standings after competing in two of the first three classes in the Eastern Conference. Little and Pico de Gallo won the Cosequin Wellington Finale Explorer BIOLAN/ NHSF Show Jumping Hall of Fame class in the company of a field of 62 riders, but didn't stop there as she also claimed second place aboard Granenfeld. Little and Granenfeld lead the standings with 35 points.

Ellen Talbert of Cedarburg, WI and her mount Corde Corrado started the series off by winning the first class in the East at the Wellington Masters show. The same combination also placed 9th at the Tommy Bahama Palm Beach Open and secured a position of second in the point standings with 33 points. Talbert and another horse Omar also had a second place finish at the Tommy Bahama Palm Beach Open. Jamie Schmidt of Holland, PA rode As Des Templiers to the third place spot in the Eastern Conference standings by winning the Tommy Bahama Palm Beach Open Explorer Biolan/NHSF Show Jumping Hall of Fame class. They have 30 points as do Little and Pico de Gallo.

The Explorer BIOLAN/NHSF Show Jumping Hall Fame Series has expanded to 44 shows for the 2000 season. The series, which runs February through November, is divided into three geographical conferences: the East Conference hosting 20 shows, the Central Conference hosting 10 shows and the West Conference hosting 14 shows. Conference point standings are calculated separately and updated after all shows. At the end of the series, a championship is awarded for each conference with East and Central Conference champions honored at the National Horse Show in New York and the West Conference champion honored at the Los Angeles National Horse Show in Los Angeles, CA.
